| Description: | Large oil and gas operator client seeking a PUHMA Implementation Engineer for contract assignment until the end of this year in Naperville IL.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The PUHMA Implementation Engineer will be responsible for the following activities and deliverables:
The primary responsibility will be to accurately transfer Unit Health Monitoring information and processes from current Excel-based tools into a standard, centralized UHM application ("PUHMA). This will be done for three units at each of three pilot sites (nine total units). The PUHMA Implementation Engineer will work with the PUHMA Site Implementation SPA to accomplish the following tasks for each unit:
Where appropriate, meet with Unit Engineers for technology transfer discussions regarding current UHM tools (principally Excel spreadsheets) and work practices.
Detailed analysis and deconstruction of all current tools for each unit. Transfer the knowledge contained in them into the PUHMA tool. This will include at least the following
REQUIREMENTS
Strong Chemical Engineering background (at least B.S.). Experience working with site engineers in the refining or commodity chemicals industries is strongly preferred.
Must be proficient to expert in the use of Microsoft Excel (Excel 2003). Must be very comfortable with complex Excel spreadsheets. Experience programming VBA is a plus.
Familiarity with Matlab a plus, but not a requirement.
The successful applicant must be very careful and detail-oriented, and be able to keep multiple tasks moving simultaneously.
