| Description: | One of the Major Clients in Azerbaijan is looking for the Drilling Project Engineer to join their team.
The successful candidate would have Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications/experience, good knowledge of English language and ability to read and understand engineering drawings and project schedules.
Main roles and responsibilities are the followings:
Establishes and maintains a SAFE working environment within the sphere of influence
Promotes commitment to Health, Safety and Environment as an integral component of sound construction and commissioning execution
Monitors site operations constantly to detect unsafe acts/practices. Conducts formal and informal hazard appraisals
Ensure the Implementation of all engineering procedures, work priorities and changes to the scope
Ensure all activities are achieved within schedule and compliant with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements
Monitor construction and commissioning related activities performed by the Contractor
Review and monitor Contractors construction and commissioning progress within agreed schedule
Ensure Contractors compliance with all HSE standards via regular safety inspections and audits
Actively participate in the development of Azerbaijani national staff
Prepare ad hoc reports as required by Drilling Delivery Manager
Assess the execution of additional works under the contract and confirm integration into S.O.W.
Act as focal point for all Contractors Project Engineering related activities
Pass on lessons learned to project team and Contractor to facilitate successful schedule completion
Act as Project point of contact on package logistics
Ensures that all QA/QC issues relative to the works and packages are actioned
Document review and monitor all SEQ and S.I ensuring prompt answers to contractor and ensure close out of all appropriate documentation as per BP Procedures
