| Description: | Opportunity to join a leading Oil & Gas Operator based in Abu Dhabi, on Rotational contract basis.
Status: 35/28 (i.e. 35 days working in Das Island and 28 days leave.)
The job holder is responsible for:
Senior instrument /control engineer is an expert staff position in Performance and Reliability Department with scope of duties covering but not limited to:
Monitors performance of all instrument and controls at the LNG Plant and associated facilities to provide assurance on their integrity and reliability.
Undertakes Root Cause Analysis of significant events and trends.
Make presentations at all levels to communicate findings
Solves and participates in solving chronic significant issues
Reviews and comments on modification /projects documents and attend relevant meetings.
Issues succinct reports as required on instrument and control risks to line and senior management.
Provides technical support to Maintenance and Operations Departments.
The job holder must have:
12 years relevant hand on experience in Oil & Gas industry (minimum 8 years in Maintenance Reliability and Engineering experience).
Very knowledgeable of industry standards.
BSc in Electronics/Control Engineering.
Very good spoken and written English.
CMMS and computer proficiency.
