| Description: | Major operator client seeking cost engineer with Offshore/Deepwater experience for 3-6 month contract assignment in west houston.
This role is responsible for tracking the current level of commitments, actual costs and value of work done as well as for providing project management with accurate, timely and rigorous estimates and forward looking cost forecasts for work within the assigned area of responsibility. The Cost Engineer is also responsible for utilizing established procedures and providing deliverables associated with cost control and managing the cost control & accounting interface activities.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience on projects of varying size and complexity, preferably in the E&P Segment. Offshore and/or deepwater experience is preferred
Education / Certifications: Engineering or Business Degree - preferable
Languages Needed: English - Fluent |
